Water Rate Increase
Effective October 1, 2017 an approximate 3% increase in water and sewer rates will take effect for all Ferris Water Utility Customers. This change effects all water and sewer service accounts. This rate increase is a result of an increase in bulk rates that the city pays for water and sewer services. Water fees fund the maintenance and development of water and sewer infrastructure such as pumps, wells, meters, and piping. Most importantly, water fees ensure constant service of water and sewer.
