Request for Bid
The City of Ferris, Texas (the "City") is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of the following real property (the “Property”) for the purpose described in the Bidder's Packet:
The Property commonly known as 201 E. 8TH St. consisting of an approximately 4,737 square foot commercial building on approximately .4609 acres of land, as more particularly described and depicted in Exhibit "A", of the Bidder's Packet.
Bids shall be delivered in writing on the bid proposal form provided in the Bidder's Packet, signed by the bidder or an authorized representative, and enclosed in a sealed envelope to the City of Ferris, City Secretary, 100 Town Plaza, Ferris, Texas 75125. All bids shall be plainly marked “SEALED BID TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY.” Bids must be received before 9:45 AM on Friday, March 23, 2018, and any bid received after that time will not be considered.
City staff will publicly open, read and tabulate the bids at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 23, 2018, City Council Chambers, City of Ferris, 215 W. 6th St., Ferris, TX 75125.
