Christmas on the Square Cancelled

In light of forecasted heavy rainfall, it has been decided to cancel the annual Christmas on the Square and holiday parade events. Much enjoyment of the event comes from the involvement in the parade and outdoor activities – both of which would be adversely affected by the rain and potential for scattered thunderstorms.

While we regret the need to alter such a fine tradition, the decision to cancel this year’s parade has not come lightly. This eagerly anticipated annual event celebrates family and community and has become a large part of Ferry’ history. The City of Ferris and the Ferris Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the hundreds of parade faithful, along with the fine organizations who look forward to attending the Christmas on the Square event each and every year. You are the essence of what makes this parade so special.
